Doug Levin’s short crime fiction has appeared in Ellery Queen’s Mystery Magazine, Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine, and a couple of anthologies. Through unfortunate circumstances—and arguably misdirected ambition—he earned his Ph.D. in English from Yale University. A lapsed academic, former book critic, and current pug owner, Levin lives and works in Portland, Oregon. He can be found on rare occasions at http://www.douglevin.blogspot.com.
